Day 1 · Arrive in the Serengeti

The hotel

Set beside an active watering hole in the heart of Serengeti National Park, this lodge places elephants and passing wildlife within view of its infinity pool and private terraces.

Midday

Arrive at Kilimanjaro or Arusha, then a private light aircraft transfer into the heart of the Serengeti.

Check-in to Four Seasons Safari Lodge Serengeti, overlooking an active watering hole.

An easy first game drive as the light turns gold over the plains.

Day 2 · Full Day on the Plains

6:30 AM

Early morning game drive, timed to the Great Migration's movements across the Serengeti.

1:00 PM

Return to the lodge for lunch by the infinity pool.

4:00 PM

Afternoon game drive into sunset, with sundowners on the plains.

Day 3 · Sunrise Above the Serengeti

5:30 AM

Hot-air balloon ride over the Serengeti at sunrise, ending with a champagne toast on landing.

9:00 AM

Bush breakfast among the plains.

Afternoon

At leisure: the spa, the pool, or an optional afternoon game drive.

Day 4 · Ngorongoro Crater

7:00 AM

Full-day excursion to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, descending into the crater floor.

12:00 PM

Picnic lunch inside the caldera, with spectacular views into the world's largest intact volcanic crater.

5:00 PM

Return to the Serengeti lodge for a Spa Treatment and some well deserved relaxation.

Day 5 · Game Drive

6:30 AM

Early morning game drive

Return to the lodge for lunch by the infinity pool.

Day 6 · Fly to Zanzibar

The Hotel

A design-led resort stepping down a tropical hillside to one of Zanzibar's few non-tidal beaches at Kendwa, Zuri blends African, Arabic and European influences across its bungalows, suites and villas. A spice garden, dhow sailing and a full-service spa make it as much a destination as a base for exploring the island.​

Day 7 · Stone Town & Spice Tour

Private tour of Stone Town (UNESCO): spice bazaars, Sultan's palaces and carved Zanzibari doors with a historian guide.

Private spice tour through a working spice farm, which is an absolute must do.

7:00 PM

Beach dinner back at the resort, under the stars.

Day 8 · Sandbanks & Prison Island

10:00 AM

Dhow cruise to the sandbanks, sailing a traditional wooden boat to a shifting white sandbar in the middle of the turquoise sea, with a beach picnic and snorkeling.

2:00 PM

Visit to Prison Island, its layered colonial history, and its giant tortoises.

Day 9 · Zanzibar | The day is yours

Morning

Oceanfront massage or yoga session, with tropical oils made locally, taken as a morning ritual

Midday

Relax at the Pool or the sandy beach in front of the Hotel and enjoy a light lunch.

Evening

Visit The Rock Restaurant for a unique adventure and gastronomic experience

Day 10 · Departure

11:00 AM

Private transfer to Zanzibar International Airport for your onward flight.
